Susan Rothe has years of experience assisting adults who want to develop independent living skills, or who need mental health and community services. She is also skilled in working with frail elders, people who have chronic mental health diagnoses, and physical disabilities. Prior to joining First Person Care Consultants, Susan Rothe was a Lead Supervisor at the Milwaukee Center for Independence, supervising more than 10 case managers and RNs working to provide long-term care services to members in the My Choice Family Care program. She earned her BA degree in psychology from UW-Milwaukee, and an MA in gerontology from Mount Mary University.
She began her career working in a Community Based Residential Facility setting, followed by working in a Community Support Program, and eventually transitioning to the Family Care Program. She has a wealth of knowledge about community resources and enjoys building a rapport with families while helping connect them reach their life goals.
When she isn't working, Susan enjoys hiking with her husband, watching sports, and spending time with her children and pets.
